Scallion Pancakes 葱油饼

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of all purpose flour

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2/3 cup hot water

  • Dipping sauce:

    • 1 tbsp soy sauce

    • 1 tbsp black vinegar

    • 1 tbsp chili oil

    • 1 tbsp minced garlic

Directions:

  1. Mix flour, salt, and hot water till smooth

  2. Separate into 4-8 balls and roll out into a rectangle (very thin)

  3. Spread sesame/canola oil and sprinkle salt (1/2tbsp).

  4. Roll from bottom up.

  5. Take roll, spiral, and flatten.

  6. Fry for 3-5 minutes each side in hot oil.

  7. Serve with dipping sauce
